Notes: CF-ANT c/n #256 was the third Taylor E-2 imported into Canada in 1935. In 1940 a new engine was installed, receiving a temporary X - experimental registration. The war forced a halt to civilian aviation registration and CF-ANT was WFU - Withdrawn From USE. The ANT registration was assigned to a Beech aircraft. In 1999 CF-ANT was re-assigned to this same Taylor E-2 as Amateur Built. CF-ANT is now the oldest flying Taylor E-2 in Canada, flown at The Tiger Boys, Guelph Air Park as photographed 2024-09-22. ================================================================================================== Remarques: Le CF-ANT c/n n° 256 était le troisième Taylor E-2 importé au Canada en 1935. En 1940, un nouveau moteur a été installé, recevant un X immatriculation expérimentale. La guerre a entraîné l'arrêt de l'immatriculation des avions civils et le CF-ANT a été Retiré Du Service (RDS). L'immatriculation ANT a été attribuée à un avion Beech. En 1999, CF-ANT a été réattribué à ce même Taylor E-2, en tant qu'appareil de Construction Amateur. CF-ANT est maintenant le plus vieux Taylor E-2 en état de vol au Canada, piloté par The Tiger Boys, au Guelph Air Park, comme le montre la photo prise le 22 septembre 2024. |
