Notes: CF-AYY was the 59th Taylor J-2 Cub and the first imported into Canada. Russell Gibson assisted with this purchase even before Cub Aircraft was formed. After its first accident, it was refurbished at Cub Aircraft then sold to a C. Taylor at the Hamilton Aero Club. The original 1938 photograph was taken with orthochromatic film that tended to turn light colours dark. AI-colourization was able to recognize and make corrections.
