Notes: CF-AZG was the second Taylor J-2 Cub imported directly by Cub Aircraft Corp. Ltd. in August 1936. The second owner, Franz McTavish also bought the first imported Taylor J-2 Cub in 1939. CF-AZG was sold to the Ottawa Flying Club in 1939. It remained in Southern Ontario, with private owners then sold to the St. Thomas Flying Club in September 1948. In 1951 its certificate expired and was withdrawn from use. That same year it was wrecked during a windstorm at the St. Thomas airfield. ================================================================================================== Remarques: Le CF-AZG était le deuxième Taylor J-2 Cub importé directement par Cub Aircraft Corp. Ltd. en août 1936. Le deuxième propriétaire, Franz McTavish, acheta également le premier Taylor J-2 Cub importé en 1939. Le CF-AZG fut vendu à l'Ottawa Flying Club en 1939. Il demeura dans le sud de l'Ontario avec plusieurs propriétaires privés avant d'être vendu au St. Thomas Flying Club en septembre 1948. En 1951, son certificat expira et l'appareil fut retiré du service. La même année, il fut détruit lors d'une tempête de vent à l'aérodrome de St. Thomas. |
