Notes:
CF-BGA, a 1937 Taylor J-2 Cub, c/n C-1110, was registered to Leavens Bros Air Service Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario, on July 2, 1937. The record
lists proposed sales to M. Forfar in 1942, I. Simpson in 1944, and the Gem Flying Club in 1946, each marked NTU (Not Taken Up). These entries
should not be treated as completed changes of registration. On April 8, 1948, CF-BGA was registered to G. J. Sheridan and Charles B. McArthur
of Montréal, Quebec. It was damaged in a windstorm at Rawdon, Quebec, on January 28, 1949. The aircraft was subsequently withdrawn from use
and sold to D. Pontbriand of Montréal, who stored it in a garage. Its certification lapsed in July 1951.
Addendum:
On December 3, 1962 DoT was informed of CF-BGA's rebirth. It was "sold for scrap" in October 1960 with the new owners' intention to rebuild
it in the "Ultra-light Category". The Continental A-40-4 engine would be replaced by a Franklin F.65HP motor. C-FPLB was its new registration.
The new owners were Laurent Bilodeau and C. Beland from La Sarre, Quebec. C-FPLB was cancelled in 1982 and re-sold to Dieudonné Champagne
of Bellecombe, Quebec. Modifications were made to upgrade the motor, enclose the cowling and modify the wings for better float plane usage.
C-FPLB was registered February 1, 1984. It was cancelled April 3, 2012. Dieudonné related that C-FPLB was destroyed in a trucking accident as
it was being transported to the new owner in Quebec City. Dieudonné had previously owned Cub Aircraft CF-EGT 246C until it was WFU in 1997.

Remarques:
